K G Lingadevaru

Born in Kadabagere, Bangalore  Dist , Karnataka in 1963, studied  GD Arts from  Kalamindir School of Arts in 1986.  He has held six  One man shows  at various  galleries  in  Bangalore,  Jahangir Art Gallery in Mumbai  and many group shows across the country. He has also participated in various art camps organised by Lalit Kala Academi,  New Delhi,  Karnataka  Lalitkala Academy  and many private institutions across the country.  He was also awarded  with  Merit  scholarship from Karnataka Lalithakala  Academy   in   the  year 1983 – 1985.  He  has been awarded with Varna  Shri Award  2022 from Karnataka Lalitakala Academy, Kuncha Kala Nidhi Award in 2015, ‘’National Award’’ from Pondicherry art  academy in  2017,  Mysore   Kala   Mela  Award   in  2004,   Indian Royal Academy Award in  2004 & 05 and many more such awards.  His works are in various private collections in India and abroad.

He currently lives and works in Bengaluru.
